I purchased this truck with the intention of either repairing it's issues or transplanting the powertrain. While the truck looks "ok" the frame and underbody has severe rust. This severe rust has created retention issues for the rear axle and suspension recently. Therefore, while this truck will run and drive, it is not safe to do so and will be sold with the caveat that it must be hauled (not driven) away. Highlights - 4wd engages and functions- manual transmission shifts well and makes no noises- 6. 5l mechanical injection engine runs well and doesn't smoke- interior has some usable parts (dash, seats, etc).- mostly replaced front axle related attachments (knuckles, brakes, etc) in an attempt to make the truck usable. These are now "good" spare parts. Problems -rear axle and suspension mounting points and bolts rusted and unsafe-rust everywhere on the undercarriage: not safe to drive.-frame irreparably compromised by rust. Explicitly sold as is. Bill of sale will notate terms and safety concerns above. Haul away from newton, nc area.
